Climate-neutral since 2019 and with a clear mission into the future!
For us, climate action is not an obligation, but a very conscious attitude: For the umpteenth time in a row since 2019, we have been certified by Climate Extender® as a climate-neutral company through offsetting. This is a major success that makes us especially proud as an owner-managed company. After all, many of our colleagues are parents and have a strong awareness of actively shaping the future. That is why our commitment to environmental protection, Mitgliedschaft in der Charta der Vielfalt or the successful VSME-Audit for maximum transparency are central parts of our corporate actions.
Environmental protection is a team effort
Consistent action as a team can achieve a great deal; this can also be seen in the development of our emissions:
- 2019: 203 tonnes CO₂
- 2025: 108 tonnes of CO₂
This means: In six years, we have nearly halved our emissions. This is an achievement that would not have been possible without committed collaboration and a shared conviction.
We achieved that through:
- of sustainable mobility
- complete switch to green electricity
- progressive digitalization
- Reduction of business trips
But we don’t simply offset our emissions; instead, we invest specifically in global projects that make an impact: reforestation & protection of wildlife in Uruguay, distribution of efficient cookstoves in Ghana, and expansion of solar energy in India to advance renewable energies.

Environmental protection – from reducing to having a positive impact.
Climate protection has a global impact, but it is also important in our own region. A special project close to our hearts starts right here with us:
Together with a local partner, we planted 20 fruit trees and 5 berry bushes – right on our doorstep. The beginning was tough: hard soil, wet weather, lots of manual work. But today, “our” little meadow is blooming and buzzing.
This place is a visible symbol of what can emerge when you keep at it: growth, diversity, life.

Another important building block of our climate strategy is our role as a supporter of the Stiftung Allianz für Entwicklung und Klima.
We have also been part of this broad alliance since 2019, made up of companies, institutions and organizations that work together for global climate protection and sustainable development.
Membership is far more than a formal status for us – it is a clear sign:
- for international responsibility.
- for linking climate protection and development cooperation.
- for a future in which economic activity and ecological as well as social sustainability are inextricably linked.
