Since 2019, our company has already been climate-neutral through offsetting!
Climate-neutral since 2019 and also in 2025 with a clear mission: For the seventh time in a row, we have been certified as a climate-neutral company by Climate Extender®. This is a success that is very important to us as an owner-managed company! Because many of our colleagues are parents and bring with them a strong awareness of actively shaping the future.
Our CO₂ footprint shows what is possible as a team. From 203 tonnes in 2019 to only 108 tonnes of emissions in 2025. That is almost a halving through consistent measures such as switching to green electricity, digitalisation, fewer business trips, and promoting sustainable mobility.
But for us, climate protection is more than just a number. That’s why we invest not only in offsetting, but also in real change: with a project for reforestation and the protection of wildlife in Uruguay, the distribution of improved cookstoves in Ghana, and the promotion of the expansion of solar energy in India. From CO₂ reduction to CO₂ positivity: Climate protection has an impact not only globally, but also on a smaller scale. A project close to our hearts is literally bearing fruit: Together with a local partner, we planted 20 fruit trees and 5 berry bushes right on our doorstep. The start was arduous, the soil deep, the weather wet. But now our little meadow is blooming and buzzing – an unmistakable sign and a living symbol of our commitment.
We keep at it. Because every gram counts for people, animals, and the environment. 💚
