University marketing takes place not only in university buildings like the one in this photo, but also at other touchpoints relevant to students.

University marketing
in Germany.

The German higher education landscape is not only large, but also very heterogeneous. This makes planning targeted campus advertising a challenge for many companies. Each of the more than 260 university locations comes with its own structures, target groups, and communication channels. Successful advertising campaigns at universities must work everywhere: both at long-established universities in metropolitan areas and at specialized universities of applied sciences in smaller cities.

In addition to the universities themselves, student services organizations with hundreds of dining halls, cafeterias, and dormitories, as well as student catering and digital platforms, offer numerous touchpoints for your campaign. The options for reaching the student target group are diverse and range from poster advertising on campus to promotional activities and digital university advertising.

At no other touchpoint do companies reach as many students as at university. However, university marketing is not a standard product: what is successful in Munich or Berlin can lead to completely different results in Dresden or Kiel. With a total of 422 universities in 267 cities, you should therefore definitely gain a more detailed overview of the target group in order to be sure to achieve your campaign goals on and off campus.

»A successful campaign on campus not only keeps the target group in mind, but also the special circumstances at the target university. After more than 30 years, we know the campus like the back of our hand and know what makes a campaign a success.«
